Big Sad, which plays The Bends in St. Petersburg, Florida on September 7, 2019.

Here’s a show where a new band made up of Bay area punk scene vets exploring fresh sounds (Big Sad) bridges both the Tampa-St. Petersburg gap and the one between newer pop-punk bands like Rutterkin and more established acts like the tough-as-nails Old Vices. This one is free to attend if you’re at least 21 years old.

Rutterkin w/Big Sad/Old Vices. Sat. Sept. 7, 10 p.m. No cover. The Bends, St. Petersburg. INFO.
