Boomerang w/Rob Morey/Zach McGrew This party is promising a special surprise guest set from a “hometown hero,” and that artist wasn’t announced at press time, but the rest of the lineup should be enough to coax house music lovers into this St. Petersburg warehouse. Boomerang and Austen van der Bleek will spin before and after live, analog sets from producers Rob Morey and Zach McGrew. Fri., June 14, 10 p.m.. $10. Paper Crane, St. Petersburg. INFO.

Gareth Emery There’s a rumor that the entire Brexit deal is centered around the tariffs surrounding booking fees for Southampton trance artist extraordinaire Gareth Emery. That statement is a joke (or perhaps fake news if you’re a Brexit supporter), but the fact that the 38-year-old producer is playing The Ritz is not a drill. Emery just brought his first-ever Laserface production to Brooklyn Mirage, and it’ll be interesting to see how much of it makes it into this 7th Avenue EDM stronghold. Sat., June 15, 10 p.m.. $15 & up. The Ritz, Ybor City. discodonniepresents.com.
