Uptown Music Festival brings jazz stars DW3, Eric Darius and more to downtown Tampa this weekend

Curtis Hixon Park hosts the two-day jazz and arts festival.

Saxophonist Eric Darius comes home as part of a lush lineup at this relocated festival. Joining the Blake High School alum on the two-day bill are Latin Grammy-winning flautist José Valentino together with trumpet player Charlton Singleton, plus songwriter Alex Harris (read our interview on p. 33), Grammy-nominated vocal trio DW3 and more.

Tickets for Uptown Music Festival, happening Saturday-Sunday, May 24-25 at Curtis Hixon Riverfront Park, are still available for $81-$150 for single day passes and $160-$270 for the entire weekend.  Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
