Marvel Years, aka Cory Wythe, is something of a spectacle. He’s a producer, a guitarist, and a DJ—onstage, he does all three like a musical Inspector Gadget handling electric guitar while mixing original beats and borrowed samples.
Promoters for the gig at The Attic above Rock Brothers Brewing's tasting room are selling just 150 tickets for the 240 capacity venue, which makes for aa much more intimate setting than Wythe is used to playing (he's played Red Rocks and the Envision Festival in Costa Rica). Ol’ Dirty Sundays regular DJ Casper opens.
There will be sanitizing stations, a mask requirement throughout the show and if you fail to comply, you’ll be kicked out.
Marvel Years/DJ Casper/Grant Lee. Sat. Nov 21, 8 p.m. $35. The Attic, Ybor City. Tickets and info here.
