Merchandise look to be back at it just a few months after an accident forced them to cancel European and U.S. dates. On Wednesday, the Tampa band released a new video for “Right Back To The Start,” the latest single from A Corpse Wired For Sound, which they released on 4AD in September.
The four-minute clip is written, directed and edit by Merchandise frontman Carson Cox, who comes off as just a little creepy in a narrative that finds him trying to piece together a few fragments from a cloudy past.
The band is set to play Paper Crane in St. Petersburg on March 10 alongside UK indie outfit Chain Of Flowers. Glove, a Bay area band featuring members of Veiny Hands and Johnny Mile & the Kilometers, open the show.
