Weekly Tune-Up; Radiohead, Benjamin Booker, Lorde and The War On Drugs lead this new music playlist

15 songs, one amazing hour

New month, new hurricane season and new music; summer is here! A plethora of jams are being released almost dailey as of late, and I'm here to sort out a few of the highlights.

Both Arcade Fire and The War On Drugs have gifted their listeners with two new songs, but only one shines.

Arcade Fire shares new single, announces September 22 Tampa show

Arcade Fire's new disco-infused single "Everything Now" is cheery and bleak. It tapped the epic Daft Punk to co-produce, along with Pulp’s Steve Mackey. It's far cry from where Arcade Fire once was, but I suppose that's both good and bad. I'm seeing some indifferent views on the Canadian indie-rock darling's new direction. What's your take? [Arcade Fire is also coming to Tampa this fall. Click here for details.]

Meanwhile, The War On Drugs continue to be on fire. Continuing its admiration for Springsteen on the new "Holding On," the Philly indie rockers have turned things up a couple notches from its stargazing "Thinking of a Place. It's the band's beaming take on classic rock, and it works.

We have a new song from Radiohead, and it's 20 years old. OK Computer has reached its 20th birthday (Damn, really?), and with that Radiohead will unleash OK Computer Sessions. If you pick-up a copy of Sessions on June 23, you'll receive eight B-sides and three previously unheard songs from the album. That just makes me giddy. "I Promise" is one of those gems that was previously unheard.

I'm not a huge fan of Lorde, but when you pair her with the extremely underrated Canadian duo Chromeo, my ears perk up quickly. Chromeo spins their excellent remix of "Green Light" into an '80s synth-funk dance number. Chalked full of slap-bass and Chromeo's signature vocoder, Lorde picked the right crew to remix "Green Light."
