Music world watches as Tampa band Ninehorn asks Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl to star in their video

#DaveAsTheDevil?

Tampa band Ninehorn wants the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl to be in their new music video, and the nation — including Metal Nexus — is taking notice.

You know those Internet campaigns where a band asks for money so they can make a record or something of that nature? This ain't one of 'em.

Ninehorn drummer Andrew Pellegrino recently penned a hand-written letter to the 47-year-old asking him to be in a video for Ninehorn's new single.

"We're in a jam, we need someone to play the Devil," Pellegrino, 27, writes, adding that the single is "100% analog." Pellegrino goes on to explain that he inspired by Grohl's work with "The Homme" and proclaims that Queens of the Stone Age's 2002 LP, Songs For the Deaf is "gospel."

"The internet is bananas," is all Pellegrino had to tell CL in a message to us yesterday.

Grohl has been kicking around with Prophets of Rage and may be currently trying to bring Korn back to the masses, so who the hell knows what is possible. The guy from Local H even jokingly (?) says Grohl might have a be devilish, so there's a chance.
