The list of nationally-known bands and artists that have visited Tampa Bay thrice over the course of one year is pretty slim, but Willie Nelson will join that club in February when he plays downtown Clearwater’s brand-new outdoor venue, The Sound for the first time.

Tickets to see Willie Nelson & Family play Clearwater’s The Sound on Saturday, Feb. 10 go on sale this Friday and start at $54.50.

Ninety years old has never looked better on anyone than it has on Shotgun Willie.

This year alone, he was finally granted a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, while also expanding his fabled Outlaw Music Festival Tour, and releasing two new studio albums. The most recent one, Bluegrass, is Nelson’s first-ever Trigger-free collection of songs since acquiring the guitar, and features revamped versions of his timeless anthems in the style of, well, bluegrass.
