World-traveling Swingles vocal group to serenade Tampa’s Straz Center

Hope they come Bach soon.

Follow along, friends. The Swingles were born as Parisian session singers who were riffing on Sebastian Bach. These days, the group is is seven young singers who operate out of London but travel to far off places like Portugal, Finland, Kenta and even Afghanistan all in the name of collecting folk songs. The group brings all of that to Tampa's Straz Center for the Performing Arts for this hump day performance.

The Swingles. Wed. April 3. David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa.
