It’s been almost two years, but who’s really interested in letting 3 Doors Down live down that time it played Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony? The Escatawpa, Mississippi band’s left-leaning fans, who were admittedly a little harsh in their online criticism, definitely aren’t, but neither are the folks who flocked to iTunes and wherever music is still sold (3DD’s 2012 Greatest Hits album sold 3,000 copies in the week after the gig, and the Trump bump sent the compilation to No. 94 on the Billboard Top 200). Former college rockers turned latter-day prom-rock balladeers Soul Asylum open the show.
3 Doors Down w/Soul Asylum/Collective Soul. Wed. July 11, 6:30 p.m. $23. Al Lang Field, St. Petersburg. ticketmaster.com.
