Conservative womens group airs new ad in Florida attacking "reckless spending"

Penny Nance, president and CEO of Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, said this of the ad:

The “Spenditol” ad is a parody of a typical pharmaceutical commercial. It presents “Spenditol” as a new miracle drug invented by Washington to solve all our nation’s problems…but as the ad’s disclaimers reveal…the drug has some dangerous side effects including a mountain of debt and higher prices for all Americans. While “Spenditol” makes you feel better now, it “pushes all that bad stuff ‘till later.”

In addition to Florida, the ad is scheduled to air in Florida, Ohio, Nebraska, and Montana—as well as nationally on FOX News Channel and CNN.

12 days and counting before armageddon, otherwise known as August 2, when the Treasury Department says the debt ceiling must be raised.

While the Gang of Six takes the spotlight on the issue now, a conservative Washington D.C. backed group is spending $1.2 million in a humorous take on the reckless spending they contend is out of control in the nation's capitol. It's called "Spenditol"
