One of the smallest homes on the market in Tampa Bay finally sold, with a big price tag.
Located in Indian Rocks Beach, at 960 Gulf Blvd. Apt. 5, the 480-square-foot cottage was built in 1948 and along with the other nearby units, was once part of the long-gone Sea Wolf Motel complex.
Last summer, the cottage was on the market with one bedroom and one bathroom, as well as an “open dining room and kitchen combo,” says the listing. It also features a new washer and dryer, a beach-facing back porch, a newer A/C unit, and was currently generating $95k per year in rental revenue, according to the sellers.
This month, after being on the market last year for more than $1 million, the home finally sold for $810,000 according to Zillow. Before that, property records show the home was last purchased in 2018 for $547,000.
The sale reminds us of another sub 500-square-foot home that was on the market in Pinellas County with a significantly smaller $425K price tag.
