Do your friends often call you a “tree hugger”? Do you find yourself wandering toward the gardening section every time you enter a superstore? If so, Greenfest might be the highlight of your year.
Hosted by non-profit volunteer group The Friends of Plant Park, this nature festival is all about the care and cultivation of indigenous plants and animals, many which you can’t find at big box stores — but the plant vendors at Greenfest will solve that problem for you. Head over to the beautiful University of Tampa campus to get your fill of all things environmental.
Or if you think the grass may be greener on the other side, you can attend the earlier festival at Indian Rocks Beach.
