For this year’s “Clear the Shelters” adoption event, set for Saturday, Aug. 27, every animal adoption fee will be dropped to $8.27.
Normal adoption rates for the shelter range from $30-$125.
As of Monday, SPCA Tampa Bay has 36 cats, 27 dogs and 24 other critters waiting for a forever home. All animals are vaccinated, spayed, neutered and microchipped.
The Largo shelter will open at noon on Saturday. Regular adoption hours this week are Wednesday through Friday 1 p.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m.
