After suspending service in anticipation of tropical storm Eta, Pinellas and Hillsborough’s respective public bus services—PSTA and HART—are back on today, Thursday, Nov. 12 at noon.
Coronavirus restrictions like limited-capacity and mask requirements still apply, and more information on route schedules is available via psta.net and gohart.org.
Overnight, Tropical Storm Eta brought high winds and flooding to Tampa Bay, especially in Pinellas where deputies had to rescue 33 people from flooded homes.
Several streets in Tampa remain flooded, but city officials are updating their map via tampagov.net/floodmaps as roads become passable throughout the day.
Tampa International Airport, which also suspended service yesterday, is back to business as usual, and while Pinellas public parks remain closed until 3 p.m., the City of Tampa has cautiously reopened its public parks and restrooms, which means you don’t have to hold that poop in anymore.
