He always had a bulls-eye on his chest after his provocative comments about Republicans plan for health care ("Republicans want you to die quickly"), and he further ignited strong GOP anger (and fundraising to his opponent) when he ran a television ad calling his Republican opponent in his Congressional District 8 seat, "Taliban Dan."
But it looks like Alan Grayson has had a short but memorable turn in the U.S. Congress.
Currently Webster holds a commanding lead over Grayson, 56% to 38%. And Fox News has now called the race for Webster.
The national GOP will be celebrating in particular this race.
