Alex Sink says she's ready to gear up for campaign, Biden-Cheney smackoff, and early voting begins in the House District 58 special election: Mitch Perry Report 2.15.10

Happy President's Day to one and all.  And post-Valentine's Day as well, whatever that means.

Sunday morning talk was a rather tame affair yesterday.  The Joe Biden/Dick Cheney smackoff, as it were, was the dominant story.   We bring you some of the highlights;

Saturday night in Tampa local Democrats were all gussied up for their annual confab - we spoke with the main star in their constellation this year, gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink, about a critical article written about her in one of the local dailies.

And, I  know you can't wait for this - early voting has commenced in the House District 58 seat.  Yeah!  We spoke with one of candidates about the race last weekend;

And of course, Hands Across the Sand took place over the weekend.  Our Blaire Yancey has that report.
