In an effort to raise funds for its jazz program, Blake High School for the Arts hosts A Night of Jazz, a concert featuring live music by smooth jazz recording artist Eric Darius, FSU Jazz Professor and Ellis Marcellus drum session artist Leon Anderson, Latin jazz flutist Jose Valentino, and Blake High School jazz pianist James Crumbly; Blake Assistant Principal Thomas Ziegelhofer plays trumpet.
