There is no doubt to us at CL that with the most recent poll showing Colonel Mike McCalister leading in the GOP race for U.S. Senate in 2012, and the majority (53 percent) not backing anyone yet), there is obvious room for an additional candidate or two to enter this race, still more than a year away.
And since the race so far has been to see how far to the right those candidates can go to appease the Tea Party, why not have one of that group's favorite sons here in Florida, Congressman Allen West, enter the race?
Though it's not known how many people are clamoring for the freshman Representative from South Florida said it's been sufficient enough to provoke his interest, as he said Monday night in in Palm Beach County:
