Aronberg on Senate rail vote, Cruz-Rifkin wants Scionti's job, and Marco Rubio skeptical about the President's plans with TARP: Mitch Perry 12.08.09

The Florida Senate is dealing today with the major rail proposal that was approved in the House yesterday.  One Democrat in that body tells CL he's not sure if there are the votes to pass it;

Hillsborough County State House Democrat Mike Scionti is leaving his seat to join President Obama's Defense Department.  One South Tampa Democrat is doing all she can to get major backing from much of the Tampa Democratic establishment;

And Marco Rubio was in Tampa yesterday, where we asked him what he thinks President Obama should do with the TARP money that the banks are returning to the Treasury;

Rubio was also a bit indecisive on the rail project, incidentally.
