Art: Native American Inter-Tribal Art Exhibition

HCC-Dale Mabry honors Native American Heritage Month with a Native American Inter-Tribal Art Exhibition. Paintings, jewelry, wood carving, textiles, drums, and sculptures are presented by artists Linda Brassel, Ed Comer, Donald Howard, Cindy Middleton, June Perry, Kaye Ware, Ricklene Wren and Yona Bear. An "Inter-Tribal Festival" kicks off the exhibit this Wednesday and features traditional and modern Indian songs, drumming, food, dancing and storytelling. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wed., Nov. 5 opening fest; the works are on display through Dec. 8, in the Campus Library, 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd., Tampa, 813-253-7386.
