In printmaking, it often takes two to tango: the artist, whose singular vision inspires the project, and the printer, whose ability to bridge aesthetics and technology enables its realization. Tampa’s own fine art print atelier, Bleu Acier, presents New Editions, an exhibition devoted to recent collaborations between master printmaker Erika Greenberg-Schneider and a wide-ranging group of artists, from international notables to local treasures. A variety of printmaking techniques — lithography, etching, photogravure, woodcut, monotype — serve as conduits for the imaginings of Theo Wujcik, Diana Lucas Leavengood, Marie Yoho Dorsey, Peter Soriano, Bernar Venet and others. The exhibit also features work by her students at New College in Sarasota. Join Schneider on Saturday for an open house with printmaking demonstrations. Dec. 12-Feb. 14, with an opening reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Fri., Dec. 12, and the open studio from 1 to 5 p.m., Sat., Dec. 13, Bleu Acier, 109 W. Columbus Drive, Tampa, free admission, 813-272-9746.
