The 29-year-old Orlando-born, Tampa-based bluesman with the gritty soulful vocals and guitar and lap steel prowess has experienced some exciting career milestones since his win at the 2013 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, not the least of which was landing a recording contract with respected indie blues label Alligator Records and then issuing an excellent 12-track LP, Don’t Call No Ambulance, that showcased his abilities.
