We caught part of this popular teacher's class not long ago, and it was fascinating. And free. He's very effective at explaining how to cook weird stuff in a way that cookbooks can't. It's real hands-on: For instance, a few weeks ago, he did a class about sautéed soba noodles and greens, miso soup with shiitake mushrooms and scallions, wakame seaweed and cucumber salad, and Iri-Dofu (sautéed tofu and carrot). Even if you have no culinary experience with such dishes, Suga K. makes it seem like a snap.
