What’s so funny ’bout seeing Elvis Costello twice in one year right here in our own backyard? Absolutely nothing. The rock singer-songwriter extraordinaire graced Bay area fans with his wit, charm, and that unbelievably vast catalog of tunes in two distinctly unique performances. His stellar solo showing in March mesmerized fans at the intimate Ruth Eckerd Hall, while his August set supporting Steely Dan at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre found him cranking up his electric guitar and playing for an eager, sweaty crowd joined by his full band, The Imposters. Talk about a great double-bill!
