MLB rules state that a pitcher can’t have pine tar in his glove. But when Rays reliever Joel Peralta was busted in a game in Washington for committing exactly that transgression against his former teammates, the story in Tampa Bay wasn’t about how Peralta was caught red-handed, It was about who ratted him out to the Nationals. WTF?
