In general, St. Petersburg’s Florida Craftsmen is an excellent place to find exquisite handmade objects by Florida artisans; in May, the gallery outdid itself with one of the best exhibitions of the year. All Doll’d Up! The Magic of Art Dolls illuminated amazing talents including collaborative duo Chomick+Meder and Calan Ree, whose creepy, comic and beautifully crafted works proved that dolls aren’t just for kids.
