A mind-melting Willy Wonka-inspired feast of visuals included giant mushroom inflatables, dancing Oompa Loompas with oversized paper mache heads, and a huge video screen flickering with projections that complemented whatever songs the band played — shimmying mushroom caps (“Pure Imagination”), logarithmic spirals (“Semi-Wondrous Boat Ride”), and even a white elephant gaining sky-touching momentum on a trampoline (“Southbound Pachyderm”). Heady.
