Amidst the constant construction of U.S. 19 in north Pinellas, you’ll pass a seemingly empty strip mall among the car dealerships and piles of rubble in Clearwater. Keep a keen eye out for A & N Italian Store and Deli. It’s the only store still alive in the strip mall, and boy oh boy do we thank god for that. Mama and her team run an authentic Italian deli flush with homemade sausages, salamis, and lasagnas. The sandwiches (like the Capicola) put Mazzaro’s through the paces.
