Inveterate show-goers know this pop-rock outfit from their former incarnation — the energetic, jumpsuited Greed Engine. A year and a half or so back, guitarist/vocalist Geoff Ford and bassist Johnny Ott began auditioning new drummers for the Engine, but it took so damn long to find the right guy that when they finally did (Spot Lucy pounder/scene-supporter Art Hayden), they decided to get a new name to go with the new iteration. Some of the tunes are still around, and so is the straight-up approach to writing and performing hooky, no-frills rock ´n´ roll. What´s new is the rekindled motivation. And, of course, the name.
