What makes Ball our Best of the Bay pick for 2015? He’s certainly got the hardware: He’s the Florida’s Funniest Comedian contest winner and Side Splitters Comedy Club contest champ as well. But that’s not really it. When he’s on stage, you can tell it’s where he’s supposed to be. His full set (Ball is now a regular headliner after just a few years on stage) is an eclectic mix. Much of it is his proven, A-grade material; a good chunk is established stuff that he’s tinkering with; and then you’re bound to get something he just thought of on the way over, or maybe right at that moment on stage.
