Mohawk Bomb Records

In July, Soulfound singer/bassist Ivan Pena launched Mohawk Bomb Records with the consistently intriguing 13-track compilation No Lip Vol. 1. Alternative, indie, punk, emo, power-pop, garage, screamo and Goth sounds can all be found on the disc. In addition to a contribution from Soulfound, a modern rock quartet out of Clearwater, the local scene is also repped by Adrift, Anareta, Knowing Stu and Drew Street Mary. The rest of the bands are from across the country and Canada, with the unwieldy garage rockers Pirate Love digitally appearing all the way from Norway.
