Sure, it's easy to dismiss voting as a waste of time, especially in state-wide or national elections where participation is in the millions. But there's NO excuse for skipping your local elections — like the mayoral and city council elections that take place TODAY in St. Petersburg. Whether you support Foster or Kriseman or none of the above, it's important to make your voice heard. Today's winners will set the course for the city for years to come. And if you don't vote, who will cancel out all those crazy folks you're always ranting about? (They vote, you know? Every time!)
