In New York they can call it a Cronut, or at least the baker who trademarked the name can call it that. The owners of Piquant can’t use the same moniker, but never mind: We have tasted their cronuts, and their name is Heaven. We brought them into CL’s offices one morning, and the moans of delight as co-workers tore into these crunchy/flaky/buttery/cakey thingies were practically pornographic. Call them whatever you like, but get to this lovely Hyde Park French restaurant/bakery quick — the pastry that shall be nameless sells out each day by afternoon.
