A recent addition to the Seminole Heights business community, the prodigious Culture and Thrills memorabilia haven isn’t just for comic book nerds. It’s a fun, Technicolor portal to the past with books of all types, a slew of supercool original posters and lobby cards for movie buffs, and vintage toys galore. One favorite on a recent visit: a Hungarian astronaut raygun from the 1950s (pictured). A giant hollowed-out Superman hangs from the ceiling near the register. Created for a mid-20th century carnival ride, it can be yours for the bargain-basement price of $14,000.
