From busts of Bill Cosby and Hillary Clinton to a statue depicting Sen. Tom Cotton juxtaposed with Iranian leader Ali Khamenei to a barely cloaked Tom Cruise shot in a photo-negative parody titled “The Shroud of Scientology,” this gallery wasn’t afraid to offend or make us look at icons in an entirely new way. CACA’s brief interlude of overt statement-making is sadly over, for the most part. The gallery announced on Facebook that it made the decision to close the doors to The Showroom, turning its focus to doing PR for “fine art and entertainment.”
