The Crossroads Post Office on the corner of 13th Avenue and 66th Street in St. Pete is something to behold. The people who work there are extraordinarily friendly and helpful and seem to like each other, too. If it’s all a big act, give them each a People’s Choice Award. They explain the various services, give advice on the best way to get your mail wherever it needs to go without spending too much and always ask if you need stamps before you leave the counter. The service is so good, you half-expect to hear them say, “You want fries with that?” This group could redefine the term “going postal.” 1275 66th St. N., St. Petersburg, 800-ASK-USPS.
