The haven for developmentally challenged artists has transcended its niche, connecting with the art community at large and joining forces with other non-profit programs such as Creative Clay and ARC. Pyramid’s hard-working staff has brought out surprising and intriguing imagery in its clients, helping them market their works right alongside other so-called able artists. Bonus, coordinators/coaches Shane Hoffman and Carlos Pons are two of the area’s best artists in their own right and often show their works alongside their clients’ during the facility’s fun First Friday receptions.
