After a near decade hiatus, popular 1990s ska-revival act Magadog returned to the scene almost a year ago this week. The band came back in fashion, rattling a packed Cuban Club ballroom at WMNF’s Birthday Bash in Ybor City. Since then, the Ed Lowery-led outfit has definitely been keeping up appearances. In August, they played a couple gigs in Key West. Next month, the band has a show in New York City. They have a Skipperdome date (Sept. 26) in between. Yeah, they’re back.
