Hey, we all love those soft, airy sub rolls that surrender easily to the incisors, and then basically get out of the way of the meat, cheese and veggies. But sometimes we want bread that’s a bit heartier, and that’s where Mazzaro’s Italian-style comes in. It walks that fine line between robust and chewy. You’ve got to sink in those teeth and give a little tear. More than anything, though, Mazzaro’s sandwich bread has taste — taste that complements but never overpowers the scrumptious stuff inside (especially the red-pepper dressing and Italian slaw, both of which are worthy of Best of the Bays).
