There´s a reason people wait patiently for hours to dig into the food at Guppy´s. Damn good seafood served in an authentic beach joint environment. It´s well worth the two-beer wait and the envy you´ll suffer as you see (and smell) food pass by en route to other diners. The menu´s filled with fresh, locally caught seafood, creative sauces and innovative sides, but be sure to check out the daily specials on the chalkboard. Standard favorites are the Sashimi Tuna Spring Rolls, Upper Potato Crust Salmon, and Stuffed Baked Shrimp. The best part? The prices aren´t completely outrageous, like so many other tourist-bilking seafood joints. You can get out of there for less than $30 apiece with drinks.
