Best Small-City Chamber Music with Big-City Cred

Palladium Chamber Players

Traditional chamber music can be a hot ticket, too — at least as played by the resident ensemble of St. Pete’s Palladium Theater. The four core members — Florida Orchestra concertmaster Jeffrey Multer and three musicians who commute from NYC (violist Danielle Farina, cellist Edward Arron and pianist Jeewon Park, the latter two a married couple) — have dazzled audiences with their musicality and stage presence, and Multer is a lively host. They’re fun, they’re glamorous (Park and Arron got a full-page profile in The New Yorker recently) and their music is sublime. The fact that they’re also popular reflects nicely on St. Pete. mypalladium.org
