Best Unexpected Live Music Hub

The Edge District, St. Petersburg

The 600 Block has already established itself as a place where bands and DJs land, as has St. Pete’s downtown. But the Edge District — that area between MLK and 16th streets, and First avenues north and south — has become increasingly active on the music front over the past year. You’ll find sounds going down on any given night of the week within the few-block radius of Green Bench Brewery, The Edge Lounge and Tapas Bar, The Bends, Edge of 9 and The Amsterdam, all with their own unique drink menu, atmosphere and stage orientation. Plus, each place supports locals while hosting the odd Florida regional act and national indie tour. We’ve enjoyed watching it thrive.
