As the last full week of the Tampa mayoral campaign begins this morning with another debate, this time on WFLA radio, Bob Buckhorn is responding to Rose Ferlita's attack ad from last week with an ad that, well, gets sort of negative as it accuses opponent Rose Ferlita of engaging in "sleazy" tactics. Watch below:
As blogger Peter Schorsch notes, the beginning of the ad features a photo of Ferlita that is the same one used in the controversial mailer released to the media late last week that blasts Ferlita for being, among other things, "Unmarried."
Buckhorn and his team have denied any knowledge of that mailer, which at this time we're not even certain was actually mailed out to anybody (If any reader did receive it, we'd like to know).
