After six years, Brocante Vintage Market owners Sean and Celesta Carter have decided to take a step back and switch focus to their personal lives -- that means shutting down the market at the end of this year.
The Carters took to Facebook to announce their plans for closure,
"It has been 6 years of pure vintage magic, and we have been truly grateful for every moment. You are our extended family, and tonight we have some news that we want to share with you. It has been a wild ride and while we get to spend one weekend each month with you, it takes a month-long effort (and a village of amazing Brocanteurs) to make our market happen each month. The time has come for us to take a step back to focus on our lives, our family, and other passions that bring us joy. This December 2019 will bring our final market. This is a decision that has been in the works for some time, and while we will miss you all greatly once we close our doors that final time, we hope you appreciate that this is a positive move for us."
That means only eight weekends of vintage markets left.
The next monthly market will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The duo still plan on bringing customers "the very best vintage in all the land."
