Burlesque movie trailer w. Cher and Christina Aguilera: "Run, don't walk, to the Internet, you homos!"

It's not just the Chicago-meets-cheezy milieu of a "neo-burlesque" dance club in LA that got Hartley going, but the cast, notably rich in divas and hunks with gay appeal — starting, of course, with Cher, the ur-diva, acting as much as intensive plastic surgery will allow.

Then there's Christina Aguilera (more appealing to gay  men, straight men, tween girls or MILFs? Discuss.); TV queen Kristen Bell (Heroes, Gossip Girl, Veronica Mars); TV hunk Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy and a celebrated threesome sex tape); up-and-coming hunk Cam Girandet; Stanley Tucci, the hunky bald guy and terrific actor who plays gayish all the time in movies and is very convincing at it;  the very openly gay Alan Cumming; Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough; plus lots of high-heeled dance numbers, belted ballads and glitzy ambience to set the fabulous among us aflutter.

Check out the trailer below and see if you agree with Derek. Me, I'll wait for the movie — maybe.

That's a quote from the ever-quotable Derek Hartley, co-host of The Derek and Romaine Show on Sirius OutQ, the LGBT satellite radio station. Since he's a pretty reliable source on all things homo, I took him up on his recommendation and ran, did not walk, to check out the trailer for the upcoming flim Burlesque. (Video after the break.)
