Can we just permanently replace Jane Castor’s voice at Tampa International Airport?

I'd like to formally nominate a few famous people from Tampa Bay that I believe would absolutely slay this gig.

Currently, anyone passing through Tampa International Airport is forced to listen to Mayor Jane Castor, which is fine and all ... but can we do better?

Right now the Tampa International Airport is hosting a fundraiser with United Way Suncoast to choose a new, albeit temporary, voice for its shuttle and monorail services.

For a more $5 donation, which 100% benefits United Way Suncoast, you can throw your voice in the ring and possibly be heard on the loudspeakers for a whole month. According to TPA, the more you donate the better your chances.

You can find more info on the contest here

But, why do it for just a month? Let’s make this thing permanent. With that being said, I’d like to formally nominate a few famous people from Tampa Bay who I believe would absolutely slay this gig:

  • Tom G.

  • Gronk

  • Chester Stone

  • Big Baby Scumbag

  • Alex Killorn

  • John Cena

  • DJ Sandman

  • Brutus The Beefcake Barber

  • Not Hulk Hogan

  • Also not Dan Bilzerian

  • Angela Bassett

  • Channing Tatum

  • Tony Little

  • Khia

  • Not Pam Bondi

  • The cast of Floribama Shore: Season 2
