An event that made its debut in Sarasota in March, Chillounge Night transforms St. Pete’s Straub Park into a lounge under the stars complete with live jazz by BK Jackson, performances by Brazilian samba dancers and drummers, opera and tango presentations, a Coco Brazil and Maison Rouge fashion show, and all manner of scattered outdoor furniture perfect for kicking back and taking it all in. Proceeds benefit Creative Clay and the Carter G. Woodson African American Museum. 6-11 p.m., Beach Drive and Fifth Avenue N.E., St. Petersburg, $20.
