22 In Land & People: Conversations About Florida, author Gary Mormino, journalist Craig Pittman and artist/playwright Bob Devin Jones investigate the connection between Florida's people and the places they love via stories, song, poetry, visual arts and crafts. 7 p.m., The [email protected].

23 Tonight's grand opening of Cigar Theatre — a 116-year-old former cigar factory turned multidiscipline art space — features an exhibit of works by more than 40 artists and "Flight of the Beast," a theatrical performance set to music. 7 p.m., Palm Avenue and 18th Street, Ybor City.

24 If you like your performers mute, blue and playing tubes, the Blue Man Group tour stops in Tampa tonight; multimedia spin artist Mike Relm opens. 8 p.m. St. Pete Times Forum.

25 The Best Florida Beer Championship culminates at the Eighth Annual Florida Brewers Ball. Bay area folks enjoy samples of Florida's best microbrews, a Homebrew Keg Competition, tasty eats and live music by Soular System. Beginning at noon, Skipper's Smokehouse.

26 Jack Heller leads the all-volunteer, 100-piece Tampa Bay Symphony through Made In USA, a program that includes Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait with featured guest John Wilson serving as narrator. 8 p.m. Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater.

27 A panel of black USF alumni share experiences with current students during "Through Our Eyes: A Look Back," a USF Black Emphasis Month program. 6 p.m., Marshall Center, USF-Tampa.

28 The Trisha Brown Dance Company performs a selection of original Brown pieces: 1983's Set and Reset, 2002's Geometry of Quiet and 2003's Present Tense. 8 p.m., USF-Tampa College of Visual & Performing Arts Theatre I.
