If women can pose topless for breast cancer, shouldn't male sock models be allowed to strut their stuff online?

Instagram is exploding with selfies of attractive men posing with their dicks stuffed into socks under the hashtag: #cockinasock. This movement grew out of a need to raise awareness for testicular and prostate cancer. It's also just a great excuse for fit men, and guys with a sense of humor, to pose nearly nude online in the name of charity.

Some controversy has arisen as a few social media platforms are attempting to block photos with the #cockinasock hashtag. Many men see this censorship as an unfair double standard; thousands of women have posed topless on these same sites to raise awareness for breast cancer without receiving the same injunctions.

Check out the below sampling of #cockinasock selfies. If you feel inspired, make a donation in the name of your favorite sock model at testicularcancersociety.org or the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
